CHALLENGE:
This project was a fun (and tricky!) one. Not only did we get to tackle branding for the Grafton Peek umbrella brand, but we also had to weave together two distinct sister brands—Grafton Peek Social Hall (their event venue) and Grafton Peek Mercantile (their retail space). Talk about a balancing act!
As the proud new owners of one of Old Town Greenwood’s most historic buildings, Grafton Peek was ready to refresh this local gem, all while keeping its iconic charm intact. Nestled at the corner of Main Street and Madison Avenue, this beautiful space was getting a glow-up: the ballroom event space was being revamped to modern standards without losing its vintage soul, and a new retail area was being crafted to showcase one-of-a-kind, locally made products from Indiana artisans.
We designed a cohesive brand identity that tied these two spaces together under the Grafton Peek umbrella, while still letting each shine in its own way. The result? A perfect blend of historic charm and modern flair that honors the community’s roots while attracting a fresh crowd.
THE RESULT:
A vintage-inspired brand featuring hand-drawn renderings of the historic building, infused with timeless elegance, artisanal design, and a palette of neutral tones for a classic yet contemporary feel.
