Branding, Illustration, & Visual Identity for Author, Podcaster & Christian Motherhood Ministry

Ashlee, the founder of The Purpose of Motherhood, teaches Christian moms how to find joy, peace, and holy purpose in their role as mothers. After publishing her first book in 2019, her ministry quickly grew, but her visuals couldn’t keep up.


She came to us trying to balance and understand it all, unsure where to begin, and stuck in that “marketing feels like a giant ball of yarn” phase so many creators experience. 

While her message was strong and her Instagram community was blooming (she grew to 40k followers practically overnight!), her branding felt inconsistent. She needed visuals that matched the heart of her ministry — warm, faith-centered, encouraging, and rooted in Scripture.

That’s where we came in: to help her untangle the chaos and step confidently into a cohesive, professional, Holy Spirit-led brand she could grow with.

The Brand Identity Vision: Soft, Christ-Centered, Encouraging, and Comforting

Everything about The Purpose of Motherhood centers around reminding moms of their holy calling. Ashlee’s content is rooted in prayer, discipleship, encouragement, family rhythms, and faith-filled motherhood and we wanted her visuals to reflect that.

The vision for her branding was to create something soft, nurturing, and deeply Christ-centered. Something that breathes life and evokes peace. 

We leaned into cozy tones, gentle fonts, Scripture-forward messaging, and elements that reflect everyday motherhood: prayer time, rhythms, traditions, books, homeschooling moments, and humor.

The result? A brand that feels like encouragement wrapped in a warm blanket. It’s spiritually rich, relatable, and beautifully aligned with her mission.

The Process

Every branding project begins with strategy. For Ashlee, that meant diving deep into her mission, her faith, and the emotional experience of Christian motherhood. We took everything she pours into her message — prayer, Scripture, encouragement, humor, honesty — and translated it visually.

Once we built a strong brand foundation, everything else fell into place: her website, social templates, email marketing, and discipleship resources began to feel cohesive, aligned, and unmistakably “her.”
